yea. that's to be expected with a capacitive touch screen.

you can only really use it to take photos and video underwater with the shutter key. otherwise it's pretty useless. would have been great if they somehow made it usable underwater too.

They did the wet finger tracking on earlier waterproof models so I remember. If in camera mode under water isn't the touch screen going to go mental and possibly close the camera app??

The wet finger tracking only works when there are water droplets on screen caused by using the screen with wet hands afaik, it does not work when the screen is submerged in the water.

Touch input on the screen becomes disabled when it's fully submerged underwater, that's why on my Go I'm only able to start and stop recording when out of the water because there's no camera button.

Hi guys,

Is Xperia Z1 UHS-1 compatible? I'm seeing some threads that it should be compatible to have the comparative R/W speed of the memory card.

since the Z1 is now available in the US (albeit HSPA+ version unlocked only) and there is no content promo along with it.. i guess it's safe to say US users won't get the free movies or music unlimited trial without doing some clever resetting.

shame. i mean the movies aren't that big of a deal, but i like free things
