so from now on any smartphones that Sony launches without the word "premium" is no longer a flagship? Why sony gotta do this...

A 4k resolution display is so not necessary to have.
If Sony really have a 4k resolution display, then it's just mental.
I can see this being heavily promoted in Champions League.

it may not be necessary but at that screen size, there is no real benefit to anything more than 1080p unless you're doing VR. there is no real necessity for amazing speakers that rival full size bluetooth ones, but people want it. first and foremost, sony needs to attract attention its devices and by being the FIRST to do 4K.. it will definitely do that.
now, let's just hope sony's actual screens are high quality. especially with a premium moniker, they better be top notch so that there are no color saturation/accuracy and viewing angle complaints whatsoever.

I noticed something. They say that Z5 Premium is going to have 4K display with 801-805 ppi. It means 5,75" display, not 5,5" as other rumors say.
