Jekyll n Hyde. How come they can produce fantastic commercial hits like the W995 on one hand and then fall down with the proper high end stuff that they made a name for themselves with? Let's hope we've seen the last of all that. They can't afford to.

i don´t agree with you i have plenty of customers that have bougth the X2 and are pretty happy with it and even more happy after the new update. But infact this is the X10 forum so way even talk about it, and why all this sh*t talk on SE, right they have made some big mistake with some phones but i see a new range of products that make the customers very happy, 98% of all X10 users are happy. So lets hope SE can keep this up its more fun with 10 company that makes phones then 1 or 2 that makes boring products that everybody needs to buy because they have no choice. If you dont like SE product, or any other products you dont have to buy it!!

You don't get it mate:
I was totally fine with even with all the glitches
and was ASSURED by the company that things go in the right direction, right?

And addictionally I was used to a certain standard of software
(the latest P1, X1 were really good).

So now we have a disastrous device
more expensive than X10

performing exactly like a beta device.
After the upgrade, where before it was much more stable.

So summing this up: it's a really rude and incompetent from the company
to made me pay 600 Euro for a disaster.

I was using those devices for years,
now I'm angry with a good reason for that.

So your agreement with me means nothing here.
I really wanted you all to know what is going on round the corner.

Now sincererly sorry for my OT here,
I won't mess around here (only if - if about X10...)

I really understand that you are angry, i also would be angry if i bought a product that doesn´t work. So there you have a point but i still think it´s ounfair of you too say "I really hope will crash" they have made 1 product that not reach your standard? how many products in your life have not done that, i mean every company can mess it up, but give them a chance to fix it. The X10 is in fact a good example on that they now are on right track, hopefully they will be back on track again and will makke us all happy like old times

I have to agree with dominsitry about and the neglect of X2 owners. With regards to the X10, a lot of new Android software will use multi touch bearing in mind that around the end of the year, another Android update should come probably pushing this further. Does this mean has to alter the software for double touch zoom or a zoom bar? Do you think they would spend the time and effort?

I honestly don't know; Google Earth on other devices uses multi touch so maybe someone should try it on the X10 to see if it makes a difference. It would be nice if some of you guys try some multi touch software and see if you can get it to work, can you get away with using it and do you get most of the features to work? I don't have an X10 so I couldn't really comment but its something that I would be wary of.

I'm looking forward to trying out the X10 mini. This X10 has been nothing but goodness so far. I do believe they are back on the right track. I installed the HTC keyboard and typing is a breeze (thanks MikLSP )

Don't make me laugh-

Lets have a look at the products I have bought that have performed poorly-

W580- Cracked keypad
W910- Software faults (yet to be fixed)
K850- Software faults (yet to be fixed)
W760- Alarms not working and music stuttering (fixed after waiting 4 months for firmware)
X1- Cracking on side of phone (yet to be fixed even with replacment fasica)
C902- Plagued with software issues even though they were behind schedule to release the product (Fixed most issues after 2nd firmware)

Now these products were part of the "old" sony ericsson, these new products will have excellent quality control.

Satio- Terrible software issues, resulting in retailers pulling the phone from the sheleves (firmware has fixed my issues but other users still report problems)
Aino- Un-responsive touchscreen, software issues (Only four people in the world have bought this phone so maybe the 5th one will be better)
Yari- No one bought it so no-one really knows if there are issues
X2- General software issues that for many have yet to be fixed.

Okay sony ericsson we waited for your new products and we all said SE are changing, things will get better, but as we have seen nothing has changed.

So the X10 has come out and SE rock, erm no! I think we will have to wait a year untill a number of products are released to reallly see if SE have changed, the W995 didn't have issues but that was just a blip, who is to say the X10 isn't.

I thought the w995 was one of the more reliable ones? The only issue I have heard about the Yari is signal issues.
