@amby: We will have that drink it one day.
The 3G thing, I saw an article in the paper but I am just as sceptical.

@eva4joy: I was wondering myself about the repetitive posts. I mean Nokia is good...but not that good.
@AYA: Did Glo do the right thing about the heads up you gave them.

For where? Not a word of appreciation. No call. No SMS. Just thanks would have been okay. But no scrubs. I did it out of the goodness of my heart, and I still feel good about it

Life goes on!

What exactly are these bugs you complain about? I do not recall you making any posts in this regard until recently. My sister uses a K700i and has not one day complained. Neither do I have any complaints about my T610 which I have used for almost 2 years, ( or my previous T68i which I used for 2 years and is still being used almost 4years after by a subordinate in my office) Most people I know who use SE phones still extol their virtues.
Will someone please tell me what these bugs are?

@amby:
Bugs are basically R&D defects on a large scale, and are usually the result of a manufacturer rushing a product to the market and using the first buyers as guinea pigs to find out and iron out those issues. It happens with all brands, but SE is a major culprit. After releasing the phones, SE now periodically releases updates.
The Nigerian market is largely shielded from this in the sense that phones get here months after initial release, when a significant number of bugs have been fixed. But some do get through.
Using the search feature is the best way to find an answer to that question. Here's a lead however:

i bought my k750 last month & i must confess, the phone's full of bugs.. Bluetooth is quite unstable, wap/gprs has problems, it reboots often and hangs, battery cover's hard to remove, list goes on.??i've upgraded the phone firmware online via SEUS & some of the bugs have been fixed.. doing online upgrades is quite risky cos many people have done it & lost the use of their camera.??in all, the k750's such a good phone & u end up living with the bugs & praying for newer updates, i'm still very happy i got it

@mamba: I don't know how you guys live with that. It just sounds razz that someone would spwnd hard-earned money and what he gets is a frustrating toy. That's why after my first and only experience with a particular phone some years back, I always wait to read reviews of new phones before buying mine.
I'd rather do without, get an alternative and have peace of mind than spend and pine.
