the same goes for acer....dell's pretty good but the turnaround time on repairs are not as good as compaq...afterall compaq's got a service center right in PJ...dell's in the pearl of the orient......

Wow, 32mb not shared, that's cool ... I'll look at da link tomorrow, i'm too busy today.... Acer aint that popular.... Dunno why. Dell i feel is a little on the nokia side, charge too much $$ for too little grub.... Toshiba is good but expensive because their notebooks are LIGHT and their customer service is great.

The shop very clever liao, they wont sell the T300 and T310 separately, sell it on a 'u wan, u take all', anyway they are selling T310 T.Choice full package RM950, cheap, go check it out!

Talking about T310. Purchased it last Friday as a Bday present for my daughter. Two days ago the screen goes blank. Sent it to Ericserve. Was told that there were corrosion as water had gotten into the phone (which was denied by my daughter). Question? How long will it take for corrosion to occur? I was informed that it can occur within half hour. Is this true? Still thinks that the phone was already faulty b4 purchase.

Well i think dell latitude D800 has the best graphic card Nvidia nv28m !! that is equivalent to a GF4 Ti4200.
My friend found me a travelmate 800 for half price but he wants me to pay him a bit cash 1st so i rejected him bcoz i cant trust him =) few days later he show me the notebook but was bought by somebody else already.
i dun think we need a notebook with so high clock speed. centrino is definately the best choice, with lower clock speed it can run cooler less noise but still fast.
Centrino is notebooks that have the Pentium-M, specific chipset and intel pro wi-fi card. But actually there are better wi-fi card than the intel pro wi-fi card,that's why IBM thinkpad T40p choose not to use intel's wi-fi card,they used philips 1 i think that makes t40p not a centrino notebook even it used pentium-M banias and the chipset.
