I'm refreshing the expansys stock deliveries page every couple of minutes to see if its arrived!
I've also got a pre-order with
www.phones2udirect.co.uk - has anyone had any update from them?

Ahhh well i had a feeling that mphone were talking out of their arses when they said the phone will be with them on friday...oh well just going to have to wait till the idiots get the phone in i suppose.
As for expansys?, i dont think they will get stocks in today...its 12.30pm now and it seems highly unlikely to me at least that they will have stocks today.
Personally i dont think we will see this phone till next week, even then i wouldnt be at all suprised if it doesnt turn up.
Dunno if i should cancel my order with mphone and go back to expansys

Well perhaps against my better judgement (definitely thinking with heart and not head here), I have decided to jump ship back to Expansys.
I think for me it is a case of better the devil you know.
EDIT: All the retailers must be wondering what on earth is going on - as soon as a new stock rumour is started orders must flood in and then flood back out again when another supplier claims to be getting stock earlier....

Well its 1pm now and expansys live feed from their warehouse isnt showing any p990i's that have come into stock...unless they havent booked them in yet.
As i said i have this funny feeling that expansys along with mphone and probably the others wont actually get any stock in until monday....thats my take on it so far. So you heard it here first
I think im going to stick with mphone at the moment, see if they actually get stock in on monday...if they dont then ill be cancelling and going back to expansys shoudl they have it lol.
EDIT: Just rung expansys and they are expecting stock to be in this afternoon but they dont sound too sure...

I called mobileshop again this morning, they said they 'might' get theirs today, but more likely Monday. Also even if they did get them toay, they have a meeting to go to so they wouldn't get sent anyway. Ocht well.

It appears that SE use distribution/logistics companies and they do have a lot of control over the timing of the distribution. It looks like SE still may not have given the go-ahead for the shipment to UK retailers! I may have go the 'wrong end of the stick' but the issue of availability is not to do with logistics delays etc.

- we know mphone will not have stocks probably until Tuesday
- scancom, no stocks yet, I will call them again in a few hours
