Xperia V seems to be Hayabusa/LT29/GX in a slightly different body, modified for water resistance.

I've got no leaks/rumors to post today but just wanna share something that might still interest a few. There was a talk recently whether Sony would buy ST-Ericsson. Well I am not confirming it but Sony is indeed looking at making more acquisitions in the near future to benefit its mobile division.

So there might be a new acquisition made in the near future.

Hey randomuser! This post kinda got lost in the IFA excitement so I wanted to ask about it. I realize you can't give specifics, but are we on the right track to think Sony wants to be in the SoC business for mobiles? Or are you hinting at aquisitions in other areas relating to mobile?

Also I don't suppose you could give us an idea of how soon the near future is, could you?

Don't look like the full resolution shots to me. Looks like they've been compressed once uploaded.

Sony changing their designs slightly again moved away from transparent strip at the bottom. I prefered them designs. They also seem to be going for thin phones again. Nice phones decent specs but nothing that screams WOW!! Why not bigger battery for the flagship??

It has white magic

Are you blind? Don't you see that are full resolution untouched pictures. And yes sony is where is should be. These pictures are mediocre. Same quality like xperia arc. Iphone 4s and SG3 is miles away from sony in imaging department. Even xperia P takes 10 times better pictures than this piece of crap 13 MP module.

Looks like they need to use a larger f/1.8 sensor and f/2.0 (or larger) optics.
That and they need to use a better image processor. f**k Cybershot, they should use the Bionz chip they have in their RX100
