Guys, the volume in default media player is too silent for me, even with headphones and with volume on max, I can't hear my music very well when in traffic. Can I get a recommendation of a media player that let's you increase the volume more than by default media player?

ambivalent - try powerAMP. it's a very popular android music player. it's a pay app though. also, have you tried turning off the volume normalizer?

Barely nothing syncing except contacts and Gmail once per day,no BT on no GPS location,no wi fi, my network doesn't have 2G so cannot turn off 3G,brightness auto,bare minimum of widgets and anything running. General usage is crap and a minute of usage after unplugged from charger it's already at 97%. I now hate Sony phones. How can I be out of memory with 2 gig ram and 11 gigs left of internal?? And don't feed me crap that it's my flashed firmware. I had poor battery life on first firmware.

very strange you're having such issues.
i have had none of the issues you're mentioning. my battery life has been stellar. even with regular usage and NO stamina mode, i'm getting still in the 30s by the end of the day.
why don't you try a factory reset or a repair using the PC Companion.

Hmm, this is the first time I heard someone having a problem with the battery life on Sony's phone. In my experience, I've never had problem with the battery life on all of my sony's phone and with Xperia Z1, I personally feel this is the best in terms of battery life.
My usage is moderate to heavy with all settings always ON (GPS, Bluetooth, 3G/wifi, NFC, auto brightness). Even the phone occasionally in Bluetooth connection with my smartwatch. With all these, the phone can last more than 24hrs.

Very true,when I saw the replacement model,it almost looked like z,not vibrant ,shift in colors and also I told them to give DOA,its been 1 month rounding up still
.
What a quality check failed flaw by Sony,mine screen was good with yellow tint+bleeding on top of the screen.
I been run out of luck,not sure on DOA model i am about to get the device.

My Z1 has gone already Sean.
I didn't have the amount if issues you seem to be encountering though !! my issues were the very average camera and poor screen which for a camera centric handset were deal breakers for me . I decided to keep my 1020 for photography purposes and stay with Sony so I traded my Z1 for a Z Ultra for media consumption and Sky sports on the go. Couldn't be happier...........at the moment
