as long as they confirm no performance throttling then Z5 is gold. Water proof phone with liquid inside lol ironic.

I'm assuming there is no liquid cooling in the Z5.
If that were the case, the French guy would most likely have mentioned something about it in that brief video.
A solution like that wouldn't go unnoticed.

Not at all, I can see they just pretent it was never an issue to shit on their last flagship. Also possible that the d00d doesnt even know anything about the interior beside S810, 23MP camere and 4K screen lol

Well if the file is in HEVC (h.265) then it should be a smaller file when compared to a regular h.264 4k file.

I did notice something odd, it seems the Z3+ does not shot 4k video in HEVC, there is only h.265 for playback, not recording in the white paper. Where as the M5 supports both recording and playback of h.265. I wonder why Sony did not include it in the Z3+? Is it the overheating camera/cpu aspect+. And yes the 810 supports playback and recording in h.265.

hopefully Sony has fixed the overheating camera/cpu aspect and included HEVC recording, otherwise recording more than a minute or 2 of 4k on the Z5 may be the longest one can record, like in the Z3+ :/

i think it's nice to see Tsepz excited for Sony's press conference. Hope Sony delivers to his expectations, which seems like at least a 4K screen and 4GB ram.
