well mobile office is 400 here- ask niranjan cause i think he uses it- speeds upto 8kbps i guess. . My spice gprs gives only 1.37kbps

its the same, mobile office in kerala is rs250 pm, and i got speeds upto 2kBps even on a edge enabled phone!!!!!

Congrats on ur nokia.
well...Mr.Maran said a certain "NRI" is stalling the 3G process using his influence in the govt for his benefit.
Anyway,the next 3G decision will be made in October.
I hope to see it by the end of 2008 or early 2009.

Wow a foreigner is "stalling" you say? Thats just perfect. They wait for a time when i guess phone's will have 10+ mp cams and 1 or 2ghz processor and when they do launch i suppose considering the state of things at present we'd have to expects speeds in excess of the 1kbps i am currently using
enjoy using super phones on a "3g" network(with sad cc and bandwidth included) when probably by then japan'l have 30g haha
