ok i've did it. (replaced the file with the old one,and backed up the old one)
now,how do i Check the version of the installed camera drive??? (the etc firmware check does not work for me...)

Had my first crash with 7.7 edited, it was in night mode, i normally dont have problems with crashes.
After restart i made 3 samples, i dont know what so say about this.

I've canon powershot s70. But it is pretty clear: if the maximum exposition time for w800 is 1/5s then we have an upper bound. Now I understand. With the above canon camera it is definitely more than 1/5s in nightmode cause even with the most steady hand the pictures are unwatchable but once the camera is perfectly stuck they are awesome.
Can I ask smt a bit off topic? Ive an image 2000x777 in my mobile(the map of centre London:)) but I can't zoom it even if it is far less than 2Mpixel . I've r1n0035 for firmware and your camdriver 30.1 (for me the best so far) and dispdriver of firmware BC02. I wouldn't like to upgrade firmware cause I'm very happy with r1n0035(expecially once I managed to add italian t9 with FAR:))

You are talking about 7.7 final. Unfortunately I won't accept it's low JPEG quality with MXE-60 mounted. LED require White balance on Fluorescent...

I have a dream: Someone who can positively read the content of these camdrivers. I would like to see a chart where the various settings concerning JPEG quality etc are noted side by side on these numerous alternatives.
How low is flash quality on 7.7final? Too low, I can tell. So sorry!

The phone seems to be able to handle only some specific picture resolutions. I don't know why, but is simply fails to process images with awkward sizes. Plus, your image goes far beyond the 1632 pixels width that the phone knows how to handle. It's not firmware related, so updating it would not solve your problem.
Try cropping & resizing the image on your PC to a... let's say... common resolution. Like 1600x1200, 1280x1024, 800x600 etc. You can increase the height by adding black borders - that would preserve the aspect (width/height ratio). I think this procedure is called "letterboxing"
Apologizes for me being offtopic too, but I felt like helping someone who needed an answer. And although I could have answered him in private, I thought hell, maybe others wondered about this too.
