V will not be sold in UK for now. But retailers will sell the V unlocked around late September. Officially it may be available after October.
V is said to come in q4 to Sweden, so October would make sense

They did say 'early September' and 'over the next few weeks' for Xperia T and Xperia Tablet S.
It's only a good thing that they've addressed this announcement to release delay.
Unfortunately, the last announcement didn't make me reach for my wallet. Saying that, I'll probably end up with Xperia T next week and get a Xiaomi 2 for my wife on October.
On topic:
I and one or two others have openly asked anybody with any knowledge if they want to volunteer information on if we should expect more this year.
Am I right in saying that from the silence of the few in here who obviously have a finger on the pulse, that there is nothing left to come?

I doubt that 'refreshed' Snapdragon S1 would ever handle resource-hog OS like Android, in fully-utilized condition of course!!
Sony’s UI skin hasn’t changed much since earlier Gingerbread-based builds, but what’s most striking about its ICS efforts is its performance. It’s speedier than you’d expect from an 800MHz chip, and it puts most of Sony’s Gingerbread phones -- including dual-core models -- to shame when it comes to responsiveness.

I too want to know this. Infact if there is nothing left for 2012 by sony, then I think we should jump into 2013 Rumours thread. After all sony's next biggest announcement should be at CES 2013, which is only 4 months away

From all the info I have there is no other high end for sure this year, there could be 1 mid range handset or maybe that's cancelled.
@Rog,@Aurelius and @Rubenos please confirm the same

No!!!!!!!!, please tell me that there is another phone like the Xperia Nexus

(
Sony is gaining momentum and ppl start to like their phones, it's the best time for Sony to show ppl that they are having good relationship with Google by releasing an Nexus device made by Sony :

Guys, this is the Image of a "Mysterious" device that I just found on Sony Mobile's FB page
They claim that it is the Xperia V, but its totally different from the "Real" Xperia V (i.e. the White Strip and a weird logo on the back)
Just as soon as i post my question, they took the page down

)
Is it really the Xperia Nexus that we are talking about??
