Well I am still selling it. Camera crashed yesterday night too about 3 times. The default album app also crashed and when I clicked on photos it asked me if I wanted to delete them instead of view them. And yes I also agree the Walkman app is very low volume. Anyway I am also annoyed because I should not have to keep resorting to resets and repairs. It's always Sony and I think I won't bother again with a Sony as I always have issues with them. Instead of making photography enjoyable on my Holland trip it's made it not so and kinda spoils the overall experience of taking pics

Yeah I've tried that and gained something like 10% in volume.

almost every post you make here is bitching about stuff - do you ever stop complaining ?
If you don't get on with the Z1 then get rid of it - most of the people posting here are very pleased with the Z1
I also understand that improvements can be made with some aspects of the phone but it is far from bad right now
seriously - get rid of it and move along
sorry for the blunt post - that's just me straight talkin - it's an Irish thing
PS - in my experience if you have 99.9% of other users not reporting the same issues then you have one of two things going on
it's either a faulty device
or you messed it up yourself installing dodgy stuff or messing with the OS - I have found a couple of apps that caused my Z1 to have issues so it does happen

First is that its very uncomfortable for me to use, maybe its my hand size but I couldn't make it sit comfortably. I find the Galaxy S4 and even the Note 3 so much more comfortable in the hand but you can say that is personal preference.
Secondly, I went to an important family engagement party and snapped a huge number of shots and they were all rubbish. They look rubbish on the phone and rubbish on the computer. My wife had the digital camera luckily but I really need to have a decent camera phone on Android and for all the hype with the Z1, its no way near acceptable for that price. I don't even need a high megapixel count, I need the quality and my Xperia P has always performed exceptionally for me. I think I'll wait for the Z1F to come because it should be more comfortable and I really hope that they sort the camera.

I was very undecided to get the Z1 but the design made me go for it instead of the Note 3.
Now Im more than happy. It´s the first !!!! device in the smartphone flagship category that easily lasts over a day with heavy usage and everything on. So for me the most important feature that I need is a triumph.
Camera is the best I´ve had, compared it to Iphone 5 and Samsung S4 and it always came out better. Of course this is not too important for me and Im surely not an expert.
No lags, no crashes, no freezes, so I really feel for the people here reporting these issues.
And Sony better make sure they can produce a more balanced quality with their products. but to be honest, reading in other forum about other devices, it seems to be a common problem nowadays that there´s a lot of faulty devices being sold....

You have issues nobody else has.
I think smartphones are just not for you.

I have never had the same trouble with other brands as I do with Sony and since I tried again with them I won't anymore. Many of my previous posts were saying the Sony was fine to start with. You lot just cannot take it when someone moans about your beloved brand. I am going to go back to a brand that knows what's it's doing with software. On a forum I have the right to moan about a product I have invested in to which is not up the mark. As for being Irish so am I half Irish what's that got to do with anything I don't care that you don't like me complaining

It's the fact that you are praising something without a limit and
one minute later you have tons of issues nobody has and nobody confirms.
The fact is users praise Sony's software on most occasions.
So it's maybe you who f...s up the device in some way not Sony.
Seeing how just jump from total love to hate in one week ALWAYS
shows you are not reliable source of usage information.
