Very true- Just checked, it's working. I'm most certain i had the usb cable connected to the phone the first time i used bluetooth to transfer files with the R1AA008 firmware. So it's probably just down to my mistake- thought i'd never be able to use bluetooth again!

I have been a regular reader of ESATO since year 2000, i repeat READER, i was an active WRITER of CLUB-SIEMENS.COM during that period.
Way back in May this year, i decided to start writing few posts. I have myself used T68i, T610, T630 and K700i prior to using my current k750i.

I have some doubts in you. Esato didn't exist year 2000. I'm one of the first member, so check the date I joined. Also, as I said earlier, the K750 came out late may so you couldn't have had one since april.

after lots of tries, i did update to R1AA008 & guess what?
no contrast gamma s*it is modified..... (i think it was improved like 0.001% but who cares anyway...) i don't know if this 25% increase in gamma that the phone is suffering since day 1 is considered a "good" thing by se??
i saw the w900 pics compared to the s700 & the k750 on Mobile-Review & i was stunned that the w900 had the same gamma offset as k750! now THAT is scary....if sony ericsson will standardize this increase in gamma on all new phones, then....... (confused)
when you compare an s700's screen with a k750's one.....you REALLY see what i mean....
how long will it take SE to realise this??

I got connected to SEUS II server finally... update was pretty smooth.. Now its R1AA.. I'm glad to have Multi character search in phonebook as well as in music folders.. it was not there previously in myt old china firmware..

Just updated my w800i china apac_1 through seus II. now its r1aa008. No problems......no errors, everything went smoothly. Just uploaded 460mb of mp3's, halfway through a message came out to pls connect the usb cable, it seems like it lost connection, eventhough i didn't touch anything the phone was on the table. pulled the cable and reinserted it and pushed the start button again, and the upload process was completed. So far all mp3's were successfully uploaded. The only glitch I found with this firmware is when you go to file manager and then go to sounds, and use multi character search, it will highlight instead the item above the letter(s) you are searching. anyone noticed this?? Also the glass timer that appears when you're zooming on pictures appears only when you zoom to 1.5x after that it disappears.
