Aya am test running my phone as modem for MTN GPRS with my office pc, i keep getting 'GPRS parameters not supported' error messages after verifying username and password, what do i do?

@All: Just been 2 a Sefi Attah book reading @ the Jazzhole in lkoyi. I recomend her book "Everything Good Will Come" very highly. It is pro-feminism, urban, contemporary and relevant. Best of all its Nigerian. Buy it! N700 @ Nu Metro.

@Angel: You are using the wrong data account for connection that is why you get that error message. On the pc you see "Error 738" right? If yes, you need to do the following.
Go to the Data Comm. sub menu under connectivity on your phone, select Data accounts, and you will find a list of all available data accounts installed on your phone. Scroll to, and select "MTN" you will see the detail "CID=?" whatever numeral represented by ? is the value you will put in "the number to dial" *99***?#
If this does not work, delete all data accounts on your phone, and request for fresh settings. It should work after this. But remember to confirm the CID number. See you on the web.

If she is using the wrong data account, she wont be able to browse on her phone as well. If she can browse on the phone, the problem is likely to be from elsewhere.
