No matter what people say in reviews, most people will get a P990, whether they are outdated or not, I mean who needs a 3.2 mega pixel camera anyway, but we all need wi-fi. This message was posted from a WAP device

When buying anything there is an emotional element and logical element to the decision making. Some people would say the girls make purchase decisions much more emotional 'feel' (quickly checks to make sure wife is not reading this ). Now Esato and My-symbian are for people who own/use Symbian and SE devices mainly so it is not surprising that people who visit here would buy the P990 (i.e. emotional decision).

If you have, i hear you can submerge them in water and they will not get damaged :) Try it, but im not accountable for any damages !! This message was posted from a WAP device

Still not sure if I should upgrade on O2 and get a K800i and buy p990i sim free or just to upgrade to p990i on O2.

What advice could anyone give me? ( I have asked before but sadly people ingored me )

Thanks in advance.

@Timmmmy !!

buy both, compare,refine you requirements and choose one. They're both great from reviews I've seen but obviously aimed at different market segments. But I am sure you know the key differences!

Thanks, either way I'm definatley going to get a P990, but I'm unsure of whether to but one sim free or get one as an upgrade on O2, because people say that newtowrks "do things" to the handset, for example my orange P900, has branding and had some orange stuff on it but surly it is not deprived of its features.

Also if I purchase Sim free rather than contract which will cost more in the long run? - would prefer to save as much as I can.

Again thanks in advance.

I poped into a phone shop just off Barclays Square London last thursday to see if by the off chance they had a P990i (in the shop window they have m600i amoung other phones that have yet to be released in the UK). He called me just now and said that he has some P990i in stock now, but the price will be just under £700. Its tempting, but too expensive!
