My family knows Sony makes cellphones because I use one.
Except PS, none of their stuff has advertisement on TV.
The worse part of it is the fact Sony has a TV channel.
But does not promote their stuff on this channel.
I see S9+ propaganda at least 10 times daily on Sony Channel..
Sony Channel here is where ppl can watch Women Tennis, Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, How to get away with murder, Daredevil ( of netflix) , Teen Wolf, How I met your mother, The Voice, American Idol, America's Got Talent, Young and Hungry and Shark Tank.

It good as you can get, for such a tiny promotional/product placement budget.
I used to complaint about it for years, was around Z-Z2 at that time.
As they have AXN, Sony Channel but Sony Entertainment
maybe not in the same umbrella with electronics division
hard to talk between cross cultural maybe?

XZ2 was recently certified to be sold here.
Sony does not have it available yet, but some stores brought from outside the country the 4GB version/single sim.
Price is equivalent to $1360.
Zackbuks posted on weibo that the 2016 devices wont have Android 9.
Same for XA1 trinity.
All 2018 devices will have, except L2.

Not XZ, but X Performance. It lives on XZ and XZs, maybe the longest support Xperia ever...4 years??
I heard rumors SoMC wants to kill it but found no reason...

King Google has promise that Pixel devices will enjoy
full 2 years OS stable supports and 3 years for security patch.
I think, vendor that can offers 4 years software supports
maybe only Apple will make the cut and it set standard of it own
or actually, they made it with iPhone 4s which has five major updates.
although, those device maybe too aged and too slow to handle new OS anyway.
