I thought that updating to .16 would fix the sound problem..

@saro_k_82, what's the firmware on your x10?

@orbitech, se_dude & saro_k_82, is it possible that you all have the same (sort) app that could be causing this?

I'm very curious, because I was planning on getting my x10 next week..
But before I do that, I would like to know what sort of problems I can expect.
Besides that, I know it's very irritating if your phone doesn't work the way it should be..
Maybe the three of you can find out what it is.

I use R1FA016 on X10i.
It would be interesting to know if there is anyone free of this problem.
Must say that I love this phone otherwise.

I'm not sure if it has been reported here already, but there is a try-the-phone option on SE's site. Link - http://www.sonyericsson.com/c[....]thephone/xperiax10?cc=gb&lc=en . Go there and play it!

According to SE .16 is an operator specific update that adresses certain operator specific network issues and as such do not apply to everyone (only some can update to it).

I find it irritating that the phone doesn't ring when a headset is connected. It only sounds in the earpieces. Very easy to miss a call.

@mange69 Does that happen with a wired headset or with a bluetooth headset or with both.

It doesn't sound like it's specific to any network or operator as mine came unbranded and unlocked with .16 installed. Confusing.
