you sure? how can you say that it was a fan-made mockup? huiyi mention it is from internal testing..he's a reliable source as well other than randomuser. i am expecting sony to make it look like that

If that was real we would have seen it in more screenshots and firmwares.
By the way, I've checked the source of both the photos and one of them comes from iStockphoto. Makes it even more unlikely if you ask me.

@Ambroos: i'll keep my finger crossed, since for me, on screen button with black background is a waste of screen size. seeing the comparison on youtube, the screen would look like ion (4.65") since the osb took the space..
@aurelius: yes, i am well aware that the show unit in ces does have black background on osb, thus i asked Rubenos, since he is sony's guy now, he might have gotten himself the latest alpha or beta firmware on his z
