To Mwarner - Thank you for updating the main page with the "parrameter is incorrect" error. It is good to see that someone is listening. I've tried all different options that I could think off and no difference. I even run the update several times in case something has changed. i.e. if you look in C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\db\13740270\blob_db\data you'll notice changes in files and I think this reflects changes in f/w. It may well be specific changes. All i know is that over the last 3 days I have been able to upgrade twice more and still get the "parameter is not specified" error messae

After upgrading my K750 firmware to R1AA008, there is an echo noise during any call made. Noise level seemed to increase, besides increase in Volume... This bug needs to be fixed in the next firmware, SonyEricsson!
Multi characters search in contacts is definitely a long waited feature. It makes looking out for names much faster...

My phone is still halfly updated and the problem is still there at SEUS II.
despite my phone being halfly updated ,i didn't have any problems since i updated
the only thing is that phone laguages (and NOT writing languages) are only limited to english and since my english is not that much bad (!),so i can live this half updated phone untill SE fixes the problem
I only hope that SE service center be aware of this prob and do sth as soon as poss.

- calendar + notes reminder volume are very low.
- hissing problem while playing low volume song still exist but quite improved.
Other than above disadvantages, the rest are worth upgrading.
- browsing pictures is quite faster.
- multi-character search in contact
- no hang/reboot problem (my last f/w was R1A044
)
in overall, I am happy with the new f/w except for the low calendar + notes reminder volume.

On the contrary, I think the mp3 sound is better than ever. the camera doesn't seem to be better or worst than r1na008 when taking pictures in low light conditions, meaning its still not as good as R1L. Overall, I'll give R1AA008 a score of 8 out of 10, the only misses is the aforementioned problem with multicharacter search in file manager, and the hour glass when zooming which appears when zoomed to 1.25x after which it doesn't appear anymore. I'd rather that sonyericsson remove the hour glass, as zooming in now is fast unlike before where it takes so long to zoom u think the phone has crashed.

Just checked now, and yeah, the alert is kinda low and short. don't know if this was the case before......

My previous R1A044 had a loud reminder volume.
I don't know whether only two of us experience this or anybody else too?
