Wow! upon using v1.5, I really feel that a celebration is in order.
I was having a hardtime before since I was using the SE software to sync with outlook and MPE with the fone. Now the outlook sync is integrated. And as a plus, it now also syncs with rainlendar! This is sooooo sweeeeeeeet.

MPE 1.50 is crashing on my PC, with or without phone attached. I have updated the VB runtimes.

completely i.e. deleting all personal data on the PC. That is an option during the uninstall process. It was the old personal data that was crashing the new MPE.
MPE 1.5.0 now runs fine. Thanks for your help!

i installed MPE v1.5 by 'updating' v.1.4.5 (the installer uninstalled v1.4.5 before installing v.1.5). i'm also certain that the copy i currently have installed is v.1.5 because there are several enhancements in the menu, like the 'user' menu, the 'sync to outlook 2003' and 'sync to outlook express' button is there. the 'notes' button is still there (between 'calendar' and 'alarms' in the left pane). i think that part hasn't been updated in the copy i downloaded...
