L - O - L, I have both the K800 and the N73. I take remarkable better pictures with the N73!
How i test this ?
1. take a picture including lot's of the sky (top of a building etc)
2. Take a picture with strong coloures. (a icecream etc)
3. take a photo in the dark.
4. portrait.
5. skin (a hand)
then i print it out, and compare.
The N73 wins at all ecept nr. 3.
And you have probably not tried out both phones, if u really think the K800 camera is better...

I'm very surprised somebody is interested enough, to kick an old topic (last post, one year ago

) with this question, both phones are old now, and meanwhile not available anymore in most shops, only in some small webshops and second hand, so who cares ?

Anyway, these ones are almost 1-year old pics. AFAIK, N73 has improved quite much, so has K800. But IMO, N73 takes mostly sharper pics outdoor, K800 performs indoor better. However, N73 color reproduction seems to be quite wrong though, sometimes, while K800 colors seem quite off, sometimes.

Which one? The last one? I did, I read it. But is that true?
In Indonesia K800 and N73 are still in most (if I can say, every) stores and ready stock, and still are ones of the best sellers, as far as I know.

Actualy N73, especialy the N73-ME is still available in most places, and NOKIA are STILL giving it Firmware updates,it's had two within the space of 4-months (December07- March08), and it's now an Ngage device as well (its still going to get the Ngage2.0 Platform app) so looking at long term it's better to have a Symbian.

I know I can't speak for all countries, knowing only the situation in my country (the Netherlands) and the UK, but here I've seen people loosing all interest in the N73 as soon as the N95 appeared.
As these phones are very cheap now, I can imagine, they're still sold in countries, where phones are more expensive, so that people couldn't afford them earlier and they're happy to be able to buy them now.

Phones aren't more expensive here btw. In fact, I think phones prices in Indonesia are bit cheaper than in many other countries.
But anyway, it's not more about the price. It's more about the features. Although they have been nearly 2-years old, the features are still ones of the best in its class, and still needed. Therefore, people still look for them.
