I can't quite keep track of who was using which theme regarding this full screen video volume issue, but I may have a suggestion. I think ares mentioned he is using Vista 1.3, which I used to use also with no problem. But then Vista 1.4 came out, which I tried using, and I found it to consume a lot of memory and have a couple problems. To those having the problem, what version of the Vista theme are you using? If it is 1.4, try version 1.3 and see if the problem still exists. Sorry if you already mentioned version numbers, but as I said, it was hard to keep track.
To stay on topic with the firmware, I will just add that this latest update was superb. To be honest, I didn't have many problems with the old one, but the phone just feels more reliable and faster with the new firmware. I can use it all day (starting with 17.7 MB free RAM!) and at the end of the day, things are still running with around 10 MB. Yesterday, I was interrupted while browsing the web, and I had to leave an important webpage up without closing the browser. After using the phone for the rest of the day (calls, email, RSS, music, etc.), I was amazed to find Opera still running with my webpage waiting for me. Hopefully the future will bring even better experiences.

@makbil & madmorrocon
You should both know the first thing you do to try and fix a PC is restart it then and SE have just reduced the use of this great repair tool

This was good
Are we going to see the days where the P990 is more stable than Microsoft Windows (any version)? Shouldn't be too difficult

Yawn... Nothing to add... good luck with your rubbish phone... My blackberry has been ordered. Real business phone. Not an expensive show off toy.

Couple of observations apart from what has already been mentioned on the forum.
1/ Zingmagic Chess game purchased for P990 still virtually unplayable due to memory leak. Has to be shut down & restarted after about 5 moves.
2/SMS still showing phone switch on receive time. Have noted others advise this has been fixed? Am using same carrier as with my old P900 which gave me actual SMS receive time when phone switced on. Go figure.
Comments?

Pardon me if this has been stated before, but I've just discovered that the annoying (to me, at least) Opera browser password manager can now be turned off.
Web - Settings - Configuration - Features - (uncheck) Use password management
