I almost entirely agree - just change "review" to "preview" - as nokia are faster in improving on buggy software than SEome other makers

i looked looked and looked but couldnt find any review that says Symbian 3rd edition is unstable. Please help me find it, in the mean time, refrain from writing stuff you cant back up, like the fact that optical zoom improves still/video quality.

He can't help it and he knows he can't. Funny how he doesn't mention that UIQ is still unstable, SE still hasn't fixed it, and Symbian 4 will be out before SE gets the point that they are losing customers because of crappy, non-fixed software.

the lenses dosent just improve the zooming for god sake, they also improve the quality of the whole video recording. how hard can it be.
edit.. did i wrote that ALL Nokia phones have unstable software ! (no i didnt)...

So by your logic, then Nokia makes better phones because they have zoom lenses?
You still did not talk about the totally crappy software on the P-series and M-series phones. I guess they don't count right?

Java is under-valued however it is superb that it is being further supported by SE with the JP8 platform - a device can be almost as good as a smartphone but with a big cost saving.

so you guys cant admit that example many N95 and N73 have problems with theirs software. (in sweden we have a BIG cell-phone-website(forum), there is a lot of people who have problems with the software on N95 and N73)....or do you think i lie.
sapporobaby, i didnt write that Nokia phones is better just because they have optical lenses, i said that if you have optical lenses, you get better video recording quality. comprende !

The only thing I know is that in this thread you show your consistent ignorance. Post after post, after post. No one here has said the N95 does not have problems with the software. Do you now have a reading problem as well? What we have said, is that Nokia is much better and faster at fixing their software than SE is. The k800 still, a year later, has software issues. Don't believe me, go look at the thread in this forum. Second, to date the only thing you have to say is: Nokia sucks. Great argument from such an intellect. Please stay in Sweden.
The only thing I know about Sweden is what my friends here in Finland tell me. They say when a Swede introduces his brother, they say: "here is my brother Swen and my sister Hans". Outside of that, if you are the best and brightest that Sweden has to offer, SE is doomed.

The JP8 is nothing more than the JP7 + 1. SE innovation at its best once again. It allows the use of standby midlets for wallpaper/screensavers. Hardly earth shaking or ground breaking. It will complement S60 V3 ------> nicely. At the end of the day, Dogmann said it quite well. You have your opinions about SE and we (former SE users have ours). The key word there being former. You should look at that and take notice. Dogmann nor myself aren't the only two to ditch SE and go for something a bit more robust and more technologically advanced.

ON this I disagree. Their quality is not much better or much worse than Nokia. Six in one hand, half a dozen in the other. However, SE has fallen behind Nokia, in my opinion Max, when it comes to innovation and forward thinking. Nokia took a gamble with the N95 and it paid off. People are buying them up and will continue to do so. SE on the other hand has just repacked, recycled products and push them out as new. Hence, the churn from SE to Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, etc.....
