Wouldnt it break a 5mp shot, into the screen size any way, preventing pixilization?

this isnt a statement against K850, but QVGA on a 2.4'' screen is not too pixelated, infact its not pixelated at all. i've seen iMATE devices with 2.8'' screens which are QVGA and are perfectly fine.

I've compared my K790 with N73 side by side and the K790 screen looks much sharper.

Some sweet details from the whitepaper:

* Auto-rotates pictures depending on how you hold the camera
* You now can select the speed of BestPic (how long between pictures)
* Manual ISO setting in camera! (ISO 400/200/100/Auto)
* Animated slideshows with music "and different moods". "Tag your photos to find them faster".
* Memory card reader supports cards "up to 4 GB". Does this mean SDHC?
* The RSS reader now supports downloading podcasts and other enclosures. RSS ticker on standby screen.
* Web browser is now Access NetFront 3.4 (which has advanced AJAX javascript support and support for frames)
* Music player has "rhythm and light effects"
* Mobile TV support in the new media menu, "organize your channels into favorites"
* Ships with accelerometer-powered games (tilt your phone to turn, etc).
* Bluetooth is now EDR (enhanced data rate)
* No defined co-branding area (nowhere to stick an obnoxious operator logo)
* No external antenna connector (for car kits)
* They've removed HSCSD support
* No more IR
* No more play key
* Smart search in the address book (filters contacts as you enter more and more of a name)
* The HSDPA support is 3.6 MBps

Damn, why do we have to wait so long? October? That's 4 months!

My k750 is dying on me...

BTW, I love the W960i's specs, I might even be tempted. Yes, it's "only" 3.2 megapixels, but the screen is much bigger, it's thinner, it's got Wifi and a touchscreen (I don't really care about UIQ) and as far as I know it's gonna be just a little bit more expensive (like €100 or so).

Anyone else thinking that the W960 might be the most serious competition the K850 will have to face?

just look at the k810/k800 thread, do you find many blurred pics there ? (no you dont, many of them is really awesome).

well, that's what I saw (blurred/dirty). K800 pict seen at full resolution is blurred with noise and color is yellowish (good example are shots you posted )

I'm wondering since the top part of the D-pad will be the select option, hw do we scroll up the menu?

the top part of the d-pad is still underneath the middle soft key
you scroll up by pressing up the d-pad
they might look close in pictures, but it's hardly mistaken on actual usage

Thanks for the explanation, xumdeo! Btw can we use the led light behind as a touchlight aka K750i? Thanks~

I think that K850 is a small upgrade of K800. And let me explain what I mean:
1. Only 0,2 inches larger display. They should have gone for 2.4 or 2.6

2.4 will be too pixelated for such an imaging device.

I'm sorry, but I have to tell you that a QVGA screen at that size is not pixellated. Unless you consider a 176x220 screen pixelated when it's 1.8" big. QVGA screen at 2.4" has a higher pixel density than a 176x220 screen which is 1.8" big.

And even Sony's T series have QVGA 3" screens.

Most cameras when seen at full resolution will be blurred with noise. Heck even my Sony Cybershot DSC T-30 gives blurry and noisy pictures here and there as well, what are you going on about?

I think the next Kxxx should have a widescreen aspect ratio. Anything bigger and you'll have to make the phone wider.
