I had this exact problem with my old p990, as did several others - flashing will not help, and I ended up being convinced it was a hardware problem. Take it back now and save yourself a lot of grief. Get it swapped if it's still under waranty.

i took it back to the service center and they said that they replace a phone only within 7 days of purchase and its been 13 days since i got this cell..
is this a hardware problem cause i have tried absolutely everything else like upgrading, master reset , m2 format etc.. also my phone is under warrenty

well...i dont´know how is it on India, but on EU they are obliged to replace the phone during 2 years if it has hardware problems that cannot be repaired

Well, as I said this was the only explanation I had left after months of tinkering with my p990, and the symptoms were identical to what you're describing. I went through many firmware updates and no joy, also if it was a software problem then everybody would be complaining about it.

Well,
My experience is the opposite, things seem slower than the previous firmware.
But I did not format the internal disc or do a reset.
Might this had have some effect?
