some slow downs in the video....I'm looking forward for a new cpu in SE-phones...however - better a slow SE than a fast Nokia (IMO)

What do you mean by slow downs? Is the video playback jerky? What's the video record like, QVGA 30fps? Lately I've been seriously considering this phone. TIA

Video record/playback is smooth and of good quality - you can tell it's 30fps. Switching between camera modes (still, video, playback) is quick with the D-pad. Applications run quickly, with YouTube built into the Media app, and Google Maps preinstalled. Both work wonderfully with HSDPA. Running the Media app along with a Java app like GMail does result in slight slowdown of the latter, though, but it's not hugely noticeable.

I've owned it for about 3 weeks now and only had one spontaneous reboot in that time - for an initial firmware release it's quite stable and fast - certainly better than what we've had from one or two recent SE handsets.

Along with the 8Gb Sandisk M2 card, you also get a CCR-70 USB adapter in the box, which is a nice touch, along with data cable, etc.

There does seem to be a slight issue with the camera, though - pictures have good clarity, especially in daylight, but those taken in low light with the flash do seem to come out darker than they should and the colour is washed out. I hope SE will fix this in a coming firmware release.

@dualist
Thanks for the review. I'm now 99% sure of getting it. I was 100% sure after winning a W902 auction on eBay for $300- I know, too good to be true, and true enough the seller never got back to me. Scumbags like these just ruin it all for everyone. Ah well, have to get it the old fashioned way then
