We should not forget that "bravia engine" is 1st generation display.where as s-amoled is 2nd generation. So you guys should stop complaining abt "bravia engine"not being the best display

Bravia engine and amoled don't compare simply because Amoled is a type of display and "Bravia Engine" is not. Its still TFT LCD. TN type at that and not IPS like Iphone4 or Droid X or LG Nova

So all by itself the Arc display is an achievement. And pretty competitive to other leading displays.

Are you people seriously discussing DISPLAYS based on what you have READ without any REAL WORLD, FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE?

I'm currently selling a revolutionary, mail order swimming tutorial. Interested?

MOST if not all people will have the same opinion about the Arc screen as what most previews and people on this forum are suggesting.
And those previews are mostly very positive. So what are you trying to say
That Arc screen is the best screen on a mobile display ?

He´s merely seeing the stupidity in comparing something we have never "seen" with our own eyes.

Personally, I was discussing DISPLAYS based on a picture comparing it against the iphone4 and Amoled. (in which iphone and Arc are very similar, but Amoled has noticeably worse clarity. For example the strawberry looks like a tomato )

It's hardly a secret that (PenTile) Amoled performs badly when it comes to fine detail.

As for the "Bravia Engine" well, obviously are just trying to leverage some Sony branding (as they should). Hopefully Sony had at least some input. Even if it was just setting some minimum performance requirements would have to meet in order to label it with "Bravia".

Yo man, and I followed similar route as now I use my first smartphone not made by for years.
I was waiting for their WP7 device......
When I analyze Arc videos I still see the places where the UI is choppy...
