Sorry to hear about that Bonovox. Hope you get a new one soon enough. Good luck!

I just had a chance to play with s3, it looks much better than photos, but I didnt really like it as much as compared to one x and xperia s (looks wise). Feel wise one x felt little more cheaper idk why but xs and s3 fared about same. However, the screen on s3 was really bad! It was quite pinkish and looked really disturbing. Then when i held it next to one x and xperia s, it looked like crap. I feel one x to be much smoother and over all better(especially the keyboard) better device. Even xperia s performed smoother! The worse part was, they didnt let much people use s3 as it was password protected, while one x and xperia s were open. I guess I will wait until the blue one comes out and then try it out again. I think it might be a faulty unit..

Thanks. Yes the Xperia S screen is sharper and much brighter it does not have pentile display. I find Super AMOLED does have pinkish/bluish tint to whites especially outdoors.

The Super AMOLED screens are amazing but the whites are not perfect whites.

On mine the screen have a yellow tint on whites.
When I tilt it a little whites become whiter.

Galaxy S3 - white's look blueish, but blacks are completely black.
HOX - whites look completely white but blacks look greyish
You can see it in this video:

Something I spotted on the deep blacks of the GS3 I had was ink spots. I prefer brighter whites and can live with greyer blacks
