I have not heard much about the audio capabilities (no pun intended).
That is the only thing preventing me from pre–ordering. I have seen that Samsung are flaunting their 24bit audio capabilities and want to know just what the Z1 is capable of.

If the audio capabilities were known someone would have replied the first time you posted this!
All I can tell you is to check the white paper. The can be fond at this

The Z1 one should be very similar to the ZU were the screen is not involved, standby - talk time - music playing and should be somewhat better on video playback, there is something very wrong with those results

Do you know what is the difference between the C6903 and the C6943, they both show the same bands?!?

I don't see the point of those 2 phones (unless I'm missing something somewhere), at least add the LTE 17 band in one of those and make a world LTE phone
And then you have the NA version...too many version with a + or - band, just make one phone with all the LTE bands and one HSPA+ only why bother with the rest

And from one of your previous post, looks like it's gonna be impossible to get an unlocked C6906 here the US again, I wanted to get a Z but came out here too late and locked on a carrier, I have a grandfather unlimited plan with AT&T (was able to keep mine when I got the X10 back in the days for an extra $5 a month) so switching carrier is not an option, I have an Xperia Ion now, so getting a none LTE phone is not an option either (you get used to those speed
)
I've been trying to give Sony some money but they don't want to take it

it could also be a very slight difference based on regional specifications/requirements. *shrug*

@Funkadopest They're probably just different model for different regions. Looks like you're in the same boat as me. Also have a grandfather plan, but I'm with T-Mobile. Guess this is where I lucked out, all models work with T-Mobile's HSPA+ and LTE unlike how the Z/ZL was. I can always import one without any problems in the case they won't release a LTE model in the US or takes months later to release it. Heck, if your area has no problem with T-Mobile, I highly recommend you to try it out. LTE speed is awesome and plan is inexpensive.
