So I tested Fast Charging, got the phone down to around 26% and wanted to see how far it would get in an hour of charging, check it out:

Thanks for testing that out tsepz, it is a shame it is not working on all chargers as I have loads of samsung chargers. Still with a normal charger it is charging fast enough but it is great to see how fast the "fast charging is when you need it"

Speaking about setting's I like having the quick setting at the top of the settings menu- would be better to be able to create a shortcut on the desktop like you used to but this is a good solution

I wonder if fast charging is a software enhancement that can be implemented on other phones through an update as well. This is nice though

I think Fast Charging is based on both HW and SW. The Note 4 comes with a larger charger base with 'Adaptive Fast Charging' written on it, apparently optimized for it, so one would need the charger if the feature were to be added via SW Update.

These last two Notes have seen some really good battery life extensions to them. Samsung has made good strides so far. With the screens snow basically at 5.7 inches and the resolution race over for now we can only expect greater battery life. Hopefully with a Android L battery life on the Note 4 improves even further.
