LTE 700Mhz doesn't neccesarily mean band 12 which T-mobile USA plans on rolling out. From Sony Z3Compact Whitepaper (page 5):
http://dl-developer.sonymobil[....]3_Compact_D5803_D5833_WP_1.pdf
Networks:
D5803 UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1700 (Band IV), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 20)
LTE 700 Bands: 12,13,14 and 17
700Mhz LTE bands:

Even if it's not going to be the right 700 spectrum (and you're right, it looks to be Band 13, not 12), it's a better phone. Plus I get 800 (not in the Z1C), which is better for being outside the USA anyway where that's supported.
I'm not terribly worried. The Z1C has worked well on T-Mo, I don't expect the Z3C to be worse.

I am finding if using the stereo speakers that turning down the bass to almost zero and turning off clear audio makes the speakers sound better. They have more clarity and less of a woolly sound because of the speaker waterproof membranes they tend to vibrate the chassis a little so turning down that bass helps. Just turn it back on with headphones 😉 Loving this phone now just those speakers are not a patch on HTC M8 I have to admit
You can also turn the S-Force front surround on (Settings->Sound->Audio settings->Sound effects->S-Force front surround)
Battery getting better everyday,24h and still 75% left.

How's your screen at 21%?? Mines at the top but I do use highest brightness though. I hate using anything but on smartphones as I find have such a beautiful screen on a phone is wasted on low to medium brightness.
