Just tested my 02 GPRS connection after reading the earlier posts, and mine works fine following the firmware upgrade.

i use gprs alot, its usable yes but i have lost some major functionlity and since its an O2 branded handset i would expect the inbuilt settings to be correct after an upgrade!Good luck with O2 they are not the easiest to chat to sometimes regarding technical issues i have found

hmm problems still after the update, lol, i am glad i returned my k750i. Just wish samsung will release the d600 soon. It'l over take k750i without any probs. never had problems with a samsung phone. Unless sony ericsson can make sure there phone has been sorted with all the bugs, then i might go back.

I mangaed to update my firmare to R1J002 without any problems.

As mentioned earlier, only the shortcuts were reset, everything else was intact when I switched on the phone. This is absolutely great!

Noticed that menu navigation is a tad faster. And, is it just me or has the phone book's fonts changed?

GPRS works fine on my SIM free K750i.

The backlight stays on in the profile "I bilen"/"In car", which is cool. My HBH-662 changes the profile to "In car" when connected, while my wired headset changes the profile to "Port. handsfree". Actually I have missed backligt on the phone while on power in the car.....
Feauture....not a bug

Yes. I've tested a few of my internet shortcuts, Google, Cinema listings, BBC etc, they all worked fine.

Very strange... mine is O2 branded, week 17.

Worrying thou, this might mean that this problem can't be sorted by either SE or O2 without me sending the phone back to them. I really hope not!
