@ all: I have a strange problem on my K750i using Sarmad 5.7 driver:
After taking some pictures the phone nned double time for "saving" the picture - but when i take a look, only a black picture has been saved. Ths last working picture was saved only half, the rest is black or full of small + + + + ....
Is this a card problem (2GB) or has my phone an error.
I can not reproduce it, but I thin it has something to do, when I have more than 900 mb mp3s on the card...

i have never had a problem with crashing when saving images with SPU's driver and compression set to 96% or is it 98% (highest possible). it produces images in 700-800kb range. never once has it crashed.
i wonder if it has anything to do with memory speed? i save all my images to sony memstick and i have a high speed one.
any thoughts?
@chopz
raising the bar - rare car spotting pics

There is no hard memory limit in w810. Btw, highest possible quality is 100%.

@SPU
I really like ur 1.3b4 drivers but I need some tips on how to get good pics both indoors and outdoors. Hope you can give a quick tutorial, i'm sure a lotta ppl will appreciate it!
I tried taking snaps by the book but the whole lock ae, low ISO, adjust manual shutter doesn't seem to gimmie good pics all the time. Sometimes shots are very very noisy.

1.3 beta 5
Now Fine mode is an adaptive compression mode (as it was in beta 4), but Normal mode is a "classic" mode with a "fixed" quality.
In real life Fine mode can't cause any problems, but if you like to experiment with totally overexposured pictures you can catch a crash or extremally low quality (0%). In that case you can switch to the Normal mode and get what you want.
Default settings:
Normal mode (quality based): 85%
Fine mode (size based):
1632х1224 - 550 (+-50) KB
640x480 - 100 (+-25) KB
160x120 - 15 (+-10) KB
All this settings can be changed in the driver config section.
