Still not sure if I should upgrade on O2 and get a K800i and buy p990i sim free or just to upgrade to p990i on O2.
What advice could anyone give me? ( I have asked before but sadly people ingored me

)
Thanks in advance.
My p910i is on Voda and has minimal start up branding branding, some pre installed connections (You can add your own configurations if you wish) and some pre installed images, so I can live with that level of branding no problem,
I have told Vodafone that I will renew my contract with an upgrade to the P990i on the sole understanding that all functions advertised by SE are fully operational or I shall return the phone and cancel my contract. If everything works as per the SE spec sheet I fail to see the problem with network operators models indeed the excessive prices charged for SIM free models certainly outweighs any perceived advantage that they offer From reading some of the posts of those who have been early SIM free adopters it seems being a SIM Free purist is expensive, frustrating and risky.

The wifi is actually the one thing that works without any problem. It connect to access-points wid wep, wpa-psk and all... and when you set up a network once it reconnects automaticly when you are in range if you have wifi on and do something that needs data-transfer. (as long as you have the settings for the network you are close to higher in priority than gprs)
Works like a charm.. hehe.

No matter what people say in reviews, most people will get a P990, whether they are outdated or not, I mean who needs a 3.2 mega pixel camera anyway, but we all need wi-fi.

well my curiosity got the better of me and I called INKINO and as Gabster said, they don't know when they will get their delivery (although their site says 2 in stock) but they 'expect' them tomorrow

Just got back from Town, I poped into CPW and Orange to ask about the P990.
CPW said September, as they have now updated thier buyers guide, but still seem unsure about that. Also I did ask to have alook at thier TYTn but sadly someone bought it
Orange have said it's coming in, no date, but come back next week, so nothing new there really.
I definatley want this one before my holiday mid september, only thing is that I need to get it as an upgrade.
