It is annoying to see the same item on the desktop inspite of many other updates. Or is it due to some settings in my phone?
Try restart your phone.
Everytime I restart, I get the updated entry on the desktop but it does not change everytime an event happens.
lI had this problem once where the timescape widget on the home screen does not update with event even though the updates work in timescape.
But, after I restart the phone, it went back to normal

Hey Android users,
I was curious of one thing:
Yesterday I discovered once I install application on memory card,
I never have to install it again after upgrade or hard reset,
AND - I can just COPY & PASTE the thing to the other card,
and without any further installation, the application works immediately.
Is that the same on Android?!
Yes. But usually you cannot install applications on the memory card. In order to be able to do that your phone should be rooted and to have A2SD installed, and with A2SD available applications will be installed only on the SD card. There some strange things with android for the moment.
Apart from this there is still no option to root X10.

Plenty of glitches --
????? Haven't found that (or any others yet) on mine !!
In fact it's been the most trouble free, stable and reliable SE I've had for several years
ditto.
No glitches here either!
By the way does anybody have any sales figures?

In Japan it had 2nd place last time, and 1st place now:

However, this says nothing about actual sales numbers, but it's good non the less!

@drad-Did you mount the card from the notfication arena?
the phone shows the card as mounted. and it can read the free space on the card. but there's nothing in the notification area
when I use the Mac bluetooth file exchange, it seems to only read the card and not the phone memory. (with the C902, it read both.)

must be my ears .... there have been several over the last 2 years or so where people
have all complained that the call volume was low, but I've never had this .... perhaps I've
just been lucky.
I know what you mean about the battery though .... again expected given the network usage
timescape does .... I had it all turned on yesterday (wifi, BT etc) and got 27 hours from full
to flat (video playing, music, calls, web browsing) - I was curious to see how fast I could
kill it off
glorfingal, how on earth did you manage to get 27 hours doing all that and with everything turned on?! I normally do a bit of browsing, facebook, gmail and a few other bits and pieces, keep BT turned off, turn wifi off when I'm not at home (most of the day) and the phone only manages about 12 hours before it starts complaining!
The other day I left my phone off charge over night and it went from 96% to 45-ish%!
Apart from this, the phone's awesome!

It works now!.. I have only myself to blame. It requires timescape to run in the background for this update to happen and I was killing this process with a task manager
