Matte grey is a stunner! I wonder why they didn't go all matte metal back too. Would help with heat issues and be much more cheaper to manufacture. Finally, I have written to Sony for a year that they should use the gunmetal color option. Great that they agree.

^It sin't clear whether or not the back is metal. If Z5 Premium is the only one having a glass back then this could mean wireless charging for the premium one. I know that Snapdragon (was it?) announced the possibility of metal backs and wireless charging for future devices but I don't think it was in time for the Z5 line.

i am still disappointed but not having xenon Flash. i will skip these phone untill i see a phone with Xenon.
not even single manufacturer thinking to include it.
also wondering how strong the Speakers going to be?

I agree. My dream phone from Sony could be developed as a '16 H2 flagship with these specs in mind:
5.2 inch 4K screen with over 800+ PPI
Snapdragon 820+ (edition after original 820)
6GB RAM
Xenon flash for photos (20MP+) and additional LED flash for videos (4K@60 fps support)
full support for H.265 codec
That would be a future proof device for the minimum of 2 years.
But there is literally 0% of having these specs during next year...

Can we be sure that the gunmetal grey versions are standard versions and not James Bond special editions? "Spectre" arrives next month, could these editions tie in with the movie launch?
