Please , try change this second line to 5d
and then make picture. this is from 94% to 93%

seq_set_prop_5_1=$z0 $p1 0e
$s2 5e //put here 5d instead of 5e

i already change that value, still crash when take same pic like above !!!

it is a pitty that we have to go down with JPEG compression.

5.3 use 55h 85%
30.1 5bh 91%
7.30 5ah 90%
7.8 5eh 94%

choose 5bh or 5ch and try.

cheers

Please give us full size originals. Thanks. What was your light source? Incandescent household lightbulb? Halogen? Fluorescent? Normal or night mode? The noise og resised samples point to normal mode, if so then the noise... and color fine tuning = mission impossible...

Hi,

I used normal mode(not night), fine quality, i shot the pictures at night in the room where was lightbulb. I didnt use flashlight on mobile. Pictures are not resized, they are croped.

RENOSJ,

what did you exactly change in the driver , please?

Hi,

I changed this: from30.1 I gave to 7.8

30.1
seq_set_prop_0=$s0 %0 $-0 0a 06 02 00 01 $w0 06 #CMD_END;

seq_get_prop_0 = $s1 1e $s0 01;

7.8
seq_set_prop_0=$s0 %0 $-0 0A 06 02 00 01 $w0 06 #CMD_END;

seq_get_prop_0 = $s1 07 $s0 07;

imsje,

No need to worry as on this level of JPEG compression (around 90%) the visual difference is not big deal - and file size in KB's should not be any goal itself anyway.

Have you realized how the high quality setting affects exposure with MXE-60 flash? I operated first with 92%, but then only short distance subjects got the flash to fire. Please do some experments you too to notice this liimiting issue.

The limited dynamic range of the tiny CMOS sensor and the optical performance of the less than superious camera lens (as the careness of the photographer in terms of settings = exposure compensation etc) are the more dominating limitations ...

HI Mark,
try with this. v7.8 use 46 try with higher or less, i don't have flash MXE-60.

SET_JPEG_QUALITY= $p1 0e // Check if accessory flash is connected
$c1 01 // If accessory flash is connected...
$s2 50 // ...then use a hardcoded compression value-THis line sets the compression for MXE-60 do not cross 50 or else your flash will stop working
#SET_JPEG_MIN(00,01) // ...and change the min size limit to 1KB
$cx // End if
07 02 00 13 $w2 $w2 $w2 #CMD_END; // INIT, AVE, LAST

Thanks,

We are not so far away from original camdriver according to my test above.
what you think?

@Mark_q
What we need? Natural color as we see or how Auto Color Correction Tool see?

As I can see, 30.1 is closer to Auto Color Correction Tool and 7.8 is closer to what we see. It is same with my test at home.
