Yeah I know about the APQ8064 being in 1H13, but what the 1H13 will differ than 2H13 ? and other things more than just the SoC used...
APQ8064 is almost like MSM8960T but with 4 cores instead of 2 and lacks cell modem, other changes just more for being a quad core instead of dual core ( higher L2 cache + support faster memory )

Well since a seperate cell module will have to be added alongwith the APQ8064, it will not be as efficient as say an integrated soc, although I'd say Sony will do a swell job. The other rumour suggest that h2 devices will have 2GB of RAM onboard. No other info atm. Probably tighter Sony integration and we'll see more proprietary Sony technology in the later half devices.
if the rumours are true, we might see 5 inch screen devices become the norm, a tad too big for me.

The problem is I can't see a QuadCore Krait with cell modem from Qualcomm, maybe the die will be too large even for 28nm... so I guess if this is the case then all Quads from Sony in 2013 will be a dual chip solution ( APQ8064 + MDM9615 )... and from randomuser 2013 devices will have more technologies from Sony such as S-LCD2 in the high-end side and also might introduce xOLED type of displays...
Even more, there's no A15 quad + modem in any other SoC maker, this makes me believe the point of the die size or power consumption issue... we might see this solution in 20nm SoC later in 2014...
Also; all native A15 dual and quad are late compared to Krait cores that's why you don't see any Dual A15 cores from TI, STE, NVidia or even Samsung... the only ready is Samsung Exynos 5 Dual ( Dual 1.7GHz A15 cores ) but it has been just announced and is available from 2Q12 so devices which uses this SoC are still in development while Qualcomm Krait Dual are already in the market from several months now !! so not to mention Quad A15 !! Qualcomm is way ahead this time compared to A15...

Randomuser, what about the Display?? are they going to use S-LCD2 from JMD or OLED display that they bought from AUO???

MSM8974 ? wow this thing is a beast... A QuadCore Krait @ 2.0-2.5GHz and it can handle 1080p @60Hz and support up to 30MP camera, not to mention dual channel LP-DDR3 @ 667-800MHz...
this thing worth the wait more than 1H13 models, I'll take the Xperia T when my contract finish... I hope reviews comes sooner than later

A15 is more advanced than Krait. Krait is somewhere inbetween A9 and A15.
So as far as I know it should go something like this; A15 > Krait > A9

From the leaked rumors, the first half range will use JMD screens and 2H or maybe end Q3-Q4 2013 models will have OLED screens. I am guessing there may be a model with lower resolution OLED in 1H like qHD but nothing more.
