No, he is not a teen, and he really has the "position", but this is what makes things worse. He applied an established, but improductive tactics for handling people's interest in his employer's products. He had a concept, but failed to find the correct balance between maintaining interest and satisfying curiosity. The result is many disappointed people.

Did he? all i remember was him posting pics sourced from engadget.com. Not exactly proof of his insider knowledge.

just please don't expect everything must come out as they are first conceptualized, you wouldn't even know for sure if a stripped down cheaper but more stable version of "P5" would be announced later
even if it's announced as it is today, unstable, patchy, full of plastic knobs here and there, it won't change the fact that it'll most probably not be ready before Q2-3. what's the point, let samsung copy it? let the reviewers bash about how little they can try out even compared to the X1? steal the lime light from X1 and have the shareholders and ODM (oh-so-demanding mini-people
) questioning the directions of the company and commitment to the contract?
nokia learned their lession from the first E series devices, se learned it the hard way from the P990
(how did you like the s60 touch interface demonstrated on a tablet PC? because bad publicity IS publicity?)

pk did post the xperia pic before it was announced. approximately 3 minutes before xperia was unveiled. i saw it here
alot of us saw that pic actually. we were all anticipating and monitoring the announcements back then sunday here in this thread.

To me it seems like this uiq meeting turns out to have been more of a meet and greet thing. See Mizzle's invitation: "Drop by between 1pm-3pm for lunch". It doesn't sound like any official declarations need to have taken place at all at that event!
