Sure, A15 is higher than Krait but differences are not that much, infact A9 was better than Scorpion by a larger margin than A15 compared to Krait...
All numbers are in DMIPS/MHz
A8 : 2.0
Scorpion : 2.1
A9 : 2.5
Krait : 3.3
A15 : 3.5
ofcourse DMIPS/MHz is not a direct comparision to real world performance but it gives you an overview of it...
So clock speed different between both Krait and A15 will give you better idea, but the fact that A15 is using deeper pipelines means ability to be clocked higher, but this will affect power consumption... but for now Krait seems to have 1.5GHz standard for dual core, while A15 might start with 1.7GHz ( the Exynos 5 Dual ) so in the first A15 is a little bit faster than Krait clock-by-clock but it can also go faster... it will all depend on power consumption comparison between them as if A15 consumes more power then some makers might use lower clocked version to have lower power consumption
So Krait is a little bit slower but came to the market much earlier, later we might see higher clocked versions of Krait after mastering process technology or moving to 20nm

That's a BEAST no doubt.

I have that feeling, too - it seems to me that V (Tsubasa) came earlier than expected, in fact it has even better specs than the assumed flagship T... anyway, looking at the famous "indian roadmap", anyone knows something about Atlas and Olive? were they cancelled, weren't they?

Olive got cancelled, it would have been the successor to Xperia Pro (shout out to rog

). I have no idea about Atlas though.

No doubt, they are too desperate to have something to storm the show with, concidering that the acroHD is selling well here, and tsubasa will not be available until december.

So doesn't the APQ8064 devices also have the Adreno 320 GPU? I was of the opinion they did.
@Xajel
True that. I personally don't mind the APQ8064 devices in h1. I can't put off buying a device till h2

Unless there's going to something epic from Sony in the second half. The software additions usually end up getting ported!
