If sofia is not announced on the 15th april,the rumours of seeing it on october would be true,but if it's announced...prepare your pockets for june!

why would it ship in oct?

why would they shift by a quater of a year, in business terms of product deployment thats pretty significant esp if testing has been going on since december ... granted there are no FCC filings or the like but since the t610 (earliest i have a date on) came out in june/july and there after it seems odd, but then is that what the K810 is for, a stop gap of sorts?

what would be cool is if we were able to catch wind of something more solid than individual claims about 4/9, 4/15, 10/07

is there an event which starts shortly after the 15th april? Is that how the rumour of an SE announcement came about? Just seems like a date pulled out from the air really... and especially if people are saying this could be the announcement of sofia. If the october release is really true (which cant really be confirmed, insiders of SE have been wrong many times, times change although i know they can also be right) then an april release?? (for sofia) I dont think thats plausable. M-R over at mobile review did say a major release before june but thats all he could say (post #2389)

Bavlondon2 - im curious as to your certainty of an october shipment of Sofia. What exactly did your sources tell you if you dont mind sharing? They seem to know alot of information and be up with the play

I think april 15th was just plucked out of the air if you read this thread regularly you will see that a big announcement was expected before cebit, during cebit, after cebit etc etc and then the internet was awash with rumours that the announcement was imminent and that it would be released within a week. So who knows when the announcement is due - going on past announcements though - it is over due.

look at the announcement of the 7th january this was also a sunday if you look in your calendar so 15th april is also possible

I think mid April was mentioned as a possible announcement date, which then turned into april the 15th, which now has people arguing about the fact that it is sunday.
