It's excellent. Far better than the other current offerings from

. It's quick, sturdy, and the picture quality is really, really great.
(Unless you speak to a certain C902 owner who will tell you its crap)
The only think I'm not to keen on, is the keys. I find them tricky to type with sometimes, and the space at the top for 1 2 3, is slightly cramped.
Otherwise, it's the best phone I've owned so far. I love the fact you can Shortcut applications to the D-Pad, so I can access Opera Mini by pressing Down on the home screen! A real time saver that one.

just get both, try them for a week and return the one you don't want
its not hard these days with contract law and/or distance selling if you get them mail order
just make sure you don't open any software that comes with them and make sure you keep them in perfect condition during that decision period

@masseur
This is what im thinking...
I have seen them both in my hand and do like the feel of the X1, especially for the size of it... its great handset... but when trying the C905... felt its the same in the sense of UI... bar the obvious differences...
So still thinking, unless I get a good deal may buy both...
Cheers

I've only had this phone for 2 days & already it has proved to be the best Sony Ericsson phone I have ever owned ( I've owned a LOT of them)
The build quality is outstanding overall with only the very faintest hint of wobble when the screen is up. The rest of it feels top notch & not cheap feeling at all.
The brightness & sharpness of the screen is amazing with pics & videos looking pin sharpness.
Camera quality & phone software again can't really fault it, the odd little glitch here & there but nothing out of the ordinary.
For those still unsure, All I can say is that I personally feel that SE has finally made another one of those killer SE phones you just have to own.

@ SE-NAZ
masseur is right. Most contracts have a 10 day period where you can change your mind.
You really need to think about what is most important to you; smartphone capabilities, or very high quality camera?
Good luck in your choice
