Very bad choice for a phone that have camera feature. A 4K color phone can anytime beat this 65K STN display.
I believe P800 is also STN ? Saw it at the show too with one guy using a O2x phone. Display is lots of different when you put 2 phone together.

cos T610 using 750mha polymer lithium battery......
which is like only 1/4 smaller than P800's 1000mha battery
and mind u the specs both say they last as long..
so think abt it...
the screen of T610 isn't half as big as P800's why cant it last longer?????

According to SonyEricsson website. P800 is 4096 color STN display ! Guess the specification is right. Anyway you can put a Motorola T720 which is also 4096 color, TFT. What a big different. Although T720 has a smaller screen, the dispaly is so clear.

Thks cscs, it is very imformative. As robinang is also right, why should they make such a good phone and spoilt it by using a cheaper material for the screen. Ppl willing to pay a little bit more if they are nice. Can you imagine a Mercedes using cheap plastic material on the dashboard in the car?

dairin-> prototype = near commercial release phone
so to change the screen which is such a big thingy in the phone will not be possible..i hold a 7650 prototype b4...the final release was very similar to it...

robinang - bringing the P800 is a burden...but if you get used to it, should not be a problem ... if not, you still have your M320...dont haiz and sigh... be patient and wait ... when time is right, all of us will be able to get the Z1010...........
or maybe the price of the T610 is so AFFORDABLE that in the end, you may consider buying it...who knows..I will be one of them too...hee hee

I went to Suntec City this afternoon just to see this T610, for me STN display is not that bad, for me its probably the best phone at the moment after T68/T68i and of course P800. BTW, I saw Ben there.
Whatever other people say, I will still get this phone
