Don't over do the water thing .Consider it more as a "Water Resistant",A safety measure. If by any chance your phone comes in contact with water,it would be still safe.Like ABS or Airbag in your car..just because its there don't try to utilize it

There was a test done with a Note 2 in water and it survived. As for water proofing it's peace of mind using it in the rain or if you spill something on it.

Z1 in motorbike accident, this mobile saved owner leg (he kept it in pocket) from serious wound.

Do you think this mobile is death?

No is answer, the owner claim this mobile still operating and receive a call via smalltalk.

Wowo! I'll Keep my future Z1 next to my Heart! I'll be' bullet proof.!:)
@bonovox oh c'mon this is silly! I dare you put your beloved Note 3 in water! Will you have what it takes to try it out? If there's an IP protection there's some reason... There are some tests... Obviously sometime it could fail as everything! But surely the Z1 can be put underwater without too much worry... The note 2 and the s4 and so on will obviously die in water, maybe they could resist some minutes but they are not built to stand the water...! No need to claim that your beloved note can evens resist water... Craptalk:P

Wow! Lucky clerk! and hail to that phone! I would give a donation to HTC for such a thing!
Only thing I cannot believe that the clerk didn't realise to had been shot until he took the phone out of his pocket! I mean a gunshot is a gunshot! Even with a Kevlar vest you feel like being punched!

What I forgot to say the Samsung test was with a nan coating. I wonder if that's better for waterproofing??
