@erike: I've got one lying around but it's in a really bad state and the firmware is messed up to the point where it gets stuck if you're trying to access "Services". Tried getting a firmware update from Vodacare but they said "it's too old". Have you tried eBay?

Guys, Talking about old phones

I've been looking for the T600.

They say it was discontinued. I really liked that phone it was one of those tiny ones.

Anybody with that ?

The wife's cousin and her husband had a coupla T600's lying about a while ago, which they gave away when they bought newer models. She got an LG *duh* and he an iMate Jam which has now been exchanged for a dufus S40 Nokia by his even more dufus-brained company.

@bongzino: Damn, I thought I was the only one that liked the look of the T600...for me though it was just too tiny for my hands although it should be said I used another tiny phone (Alcatel 511) when the T600 was released.
Have you tried Cash Crusaders?

I gave up looking, but I didn't looked thoroughly, in many different places.

Anyway, maybe one day I will come across it.

There were some on eBay recently, some in seemingly very good condition, but none were new.
Occasionally, there is the odd brand new one up for sale, even though it has been discontinued for quite some time.
There was one in good condtition on Buy-It-Now for £16.99 (approx R200) yesterday.

There was a specific item i was interested in on Ebay, so i sent a message to the seller. Imagine my suprise when i not only got a very prompt reply, but also the email address of his supplier who was selling the same items for 30% less. Goes to show you, there really ARE some nice folks out there

Yebo, they've offered to ship here, atm negotiating suitable cost for shipping, insurance, etc.

My brother has a fondness for martial weapons, being an ex-instructor, so i'm ordering a fairly rare baton from the US for Xmas/wedding gift. Rare in the sense that the same item here is nearly 4 times as expensive, even with the customs duty factored in...
