= Satio

= Yari

= Aino
Satio is running very nicely, quick and responsive with an excellent screen. Yari is good, it will do as a very good all rounder. Aino had a lot of potential but lack of proper touch controls has killed it. The slide makes it so long when open. It would have been easier to make a full touch without a keypad. The cradle and remote are very nice. The UI looks nice as well. Satio is still the show stopper, it is amazing for multimedia and its a different flavour from all the other companies with their touch devices.
Anyhow, I believe there should be an announcement for Xperia in June possibly July if late. Xperia to come as well as a few others. I think we'll see 'the' Walkman (could also be Xperia branded since the W995 is around) to rival iPhone and co. Some other surprise phones are about as well, things like Satio that nobody could have ever imagined. There is a 8MP+ candybar Cybershot so don't worry about that. High-end stuff to come, you have my personal guarantee. QWERTY explosion as well. Come to think of it, there is quite a lot to be announced still and better phones as well so be

The thing I just don't get is why they made Aino so difficult to use! I mean, to navigate properly you are going to need to slide it out, and that makes the phone so long and it would be very tiresome doing that all the time. If this was the only way they could implement touch, then they should have put the navigational keys on the top, not on the slide.
What's coming sounds great, thanks for the info. Looking forward to the next Xperia's announcement.
I'll update the first post with some of this info tonight.

I can remember everyone cooing at the C905 when it came out, I like that phone, but I also remember being told on here by Mizzle etc that my wich would be filled with the Idou before it was announced the first time. Idou was then announced and I said it was too big, yet I now realise it is spot on, It's smaller then the HTC Magic which is a nice compact phone yet has a bigger screen which is the way to go, bigger screen means bigger keyboard. But the interface seen today is amazing! go go

Aino actually look nice.
yes the main navigation key ends up at location that is not friendly.
it just seem like one intermediate solution for user...if they can't get used to touch...go back to normal numeric method although not as comfortable.
hmmm hope I got the time to read more about the phone.
but I do like the numeric key all under the slider....easier for SMS or Email.

Hmmm.. I dunno man. I always slide my phone out before using the menu as I use the number shortcuts to access menu items. Don't think it'll make that big a difference.
Also, it gives an onus to all the hackers to cook up a fix that will allow full touch, no?

I just notice a big flaw in Aino...the name
imagine you going to ask for the phone at a shop
"you got

AINO"
sound like "you got SE? I no!!!"

better change the name fast!!!!
