At around 8-10pm connecting to GPRS is impossible...arggh

I can not express my distress enough. I'm growing very attached to the posters here at esato.
Yet because of certain barriers (service provider at work,, lack of home net connection, work etc...) I can't post here half as often as I'd like. And when I do, I can never see my own posts (I blame the sp for that one).
I think that the people that post here are some of the most respectfull and intelligent South Africans I've had the pleasure of communicating with (being british and living in SA)
If it was up to me I'd be here all day. Instaed of catching snippets of conversations and trying to put my random 2c worth in. Well... at least noone has complained about my lack of consistency. Thanks guys. You do SA Proud.

@Brix, during last year a few buddies and i spent an evening at the bowling alley with Mr.Lottering. Eventually curiosity got the better of me and, seeing that the party had gone liquid, i asked about his DUI charges. His reply was typical- he said that nope, he wasn't drunk when he was arrested... Being merely drunk was meant for mere mortals... No, he was paralytic!!!
As for gaachies, we've an abundance of them, so much so that the city is contemplating exporting some of em to the Formula One teams. Imagine the slowest F1 driver with a coloured gaachie... Not only will the gaachie ensure his driver gets every gap and wins the race, he'll find room in that tiny cockpit to squeeze in 15 paying passengers as well

I should declare that I don't own a car so I travel by taxi at least once a week( I walk to my office).
Yesterday I felt sorry for a granny sitting next to me, at least sorry for her ears, because the taxi driver all of a sudden decided he had to play the loudest techno/rave/trance garbage. Gartjies are usually ex cons who can't/won't find jobs in the formal economy and have to resort to harrasing passengers and turning them into contortionist for profit.
Weird thing happened to me, or at least to my cellphone...This morning it picked up reception for a tower that was at least 8 kilometres away...Is that unusual or is it the norm?
