Kook,
I just flashed mine two days ago and I have the same exact Rev (R2B013) you have and I also flashed up to R5D007 EU and I had no problems. Just make sure you have a good Firmware file to flash with.
I used the split file version from
http://www.sevenfire.net. Here is the direct link to the firmware -->
http://www.sevenfire.net/T68i_R5D007_2files.zip
I also used the Thai version of the sonyclient software version 6.52. I don't have the direct link to it, but if you need it I'm sure I can find it or it should be in one of the earlier post.
Good Luck
I love my upgraded phone.

Kook Deville,
i did mine with sim out, i don't see any reason for it to be in, and u should have it out when u do unlock, do unlock first because i've read that if u do it backwards u can screw up your phone..........

kolobok_vn,
I don't have any BT devices to test it with. As soon as I do, i'll let you know. Sorry.

kolobok_vn,
I was not able to back up mine. It stopped at 100% and I let it go for 30 mins, but clicked on the stop button.
Then I prayed and went for it.....LOL.
The flashing went well though. The first file flashed at 100% and I was able to load the second file without clicking stop. The second file went to 100% and just sat there. I waited 10 mins and click stop.
When I turned on the phone, it came right up and have been running fine ever since.

rbordley,
i first tried to backup and it froze @ 99%, i disconnected phone and than it asked me to save, and that made me loose credit, second time i reconnected it just set there @ 99% when i was backing up and i desided to just flash anyway ( praying that battery would be same as it was), because i have 2 friends with same exact phones because we bought them at same time from amazon. now everything fine but bluetooth

, i still have cable that i converted to flash cable and i'll just have to undo it back to data, but i was planning on getting bluetooth headset, now i'm not sure

, if i get it and it won't work it'll suck !
