Doesnt seem like anythings been confirmed yet about the cars. But i really like the sound of the hardcore mode, will add a different dimension to the game. I hope it will change the way the car handles completely really, like the car being heavier etc

Have you still got Forza? I just lent it off a mate... i actually didnt like it that much when i used to have it, but wanted to give it a bashing before 2 comes out Plus, i do reckon that my gaming desires change a bit over time and think i'll enjoy playing it a bit more now

Posts: 28 Once you've reached the Champion level, a new menu will appear on the Title Screen, "Hardcore Mode".

You will not have access to the solo challenges (race, time and speed) if you enter the game in this mode.

You must pass the level Champion with 450 points to unlock the Hardcore Mode. An achievement window will appear indicating that you have unlocked the Hardcore Mode.

Especially designed to enjoy the Microsoft Wireless Racing Wheel, the Hardcore Driving mode will also be a lot of fun with the standard Xbox 360 controller… if you’re looking for the thrills of even more challenging driving.

Tips & Hints:
• When using the wheel, make sure to activate it in the driving options, and tweak its sensitivity
• Be cautious: your driving sensations will change as you’ll find that tire grip and braking distance are less forgiving
• Remember you can still adjust the track control helps: Driving Aid, Sport, Hypersport and Off”

Handling is indeed far more realistic in this mode. Moreover, enhanced 2D display will show info on grip, drift…
Those resources are integrated in the Christmas pack. Players who download the patch but do not download the DLC would get wheel support but will not get access to the hardcore mode (the Hardcore Mode is integrated in the PC version).
